Numi Teas and Teasans
Teas come from a single plant, the camellia Sinensis. If left to wither (oxidize), the tea leaves turn black. If immediately steamed, they remain green. Oolong Teas range between the two (partially-oxidized). White tea is the least processed and excluively the top leaf and a bud. Numi is unique in its committment to using Organic and Kosher whole leaf teas, real fruits, and fresh spices,. The majority of other tea bags utilize leftover tea dust or fannings and add oils, flavoring or sweeteners.
Teasans is our term, derived from the French tisanes, for brewed herbal beverages, containing no tea leaves. Caffeine-free and delicious, they have been used for centuries to soothe and heal. These are pure Organic and Kosher herbs without the additions of oils or flavorings.
