Taste great with any Dry Beans, Pintos, Navy, Great Northern, Limas, Black-eyed peas, use like you would any relish. Great in Potato or tuna salads. Our is a little warn with the jalapeno peppers.
The name is based on the French word chou for cabbage. Chow-chow is regionally associated with the southern United States.
My grand mother alway had a jar of chow chow on the table.
